Description
Very nice sixth plate tintype of a Union private standing posed with his musket. His US belt plate is gilded and he has a cap box and bayonet scabbard on the belt. The musket looks like a Springfield, with bayonet affixed. The image has no bends or creases, and is in very nice condition. There are a couple of minor scratches on the image. It is housed in a complete leatherette case with repaired spine.
