Description
This sixth plate tintype depicts a Union soldier standing with his weapon, which looks like a Mississippi rifle with sabre bayonet attached. The soldier is nicely posed with his arm across his torso. He is wearing a slouch hat, and has a western theatre look about him. His belt has a gilded oval plate and his buttons are also gilded. An overall nice image which is housed in a half leatherette case.
