Description
This sixth plate clear glass ambrotype has very nice content. A confederate soldier is viewed from the waist up presenting a Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver to the camera. He is wearing a shell jacket with shoulder straps and a dark kepi. His cheeks are tinted and he has a very tough look about him. He is wearing a belt with a roller buckle and may have a holster on the belt, although it is hard to tell. The image is a bit dark but shows well. It is housed in a complete leatherette case with repaired spine. A very nice armed Confederate image.
