Description
This nicely posed Union soldier is seated in front of a canvas backdrop that features an outdoor scene with a row of tents in the background. A table with a slouch hat is next to him. A large Sibley tent is behind the table and is mostly hidden under the mat. The image is a sixth plate tintype that is attractively tinted. The image is in excellent condition and is housed in a complete leatherette case with repaired spine.
